the only girl in week 2.
blowing her bubbles and swimming with very little assistance.
reaching the other side. bless her heart. you can tell how much it took out of them to make that swim from one side to the other with out any flotation device or hand for support. also, most of them reach for the ladder as they see it approaching and go under because they quit swimming.
the daunting slide. she looked so tiny on the climb up, but even tinier as she sat anticipating the ride down. it had to be at least 9 feet tall. i was so proud of her. it made mommy nervous just to watch.
she survived! and received her certificate. it is amazing how much she learned and how much she loves the water now. we went to the beach 2 weeks later and she wanted to live in the pool.
